Please note: EFT Extravaganza assumes you have knowledge of EFT. If you do not have a good experiential base with EFT, you can do any of the following:

Workshop Guidelines

All participants must sign a release and disclosure consent form before attending the “Healing Our Lives Through EFT” conference. A copy of that form is below this box.

You may NOT sell your seat to anyone without notifying them of the guidelines, and without *your* assuming responsibility that they have agreed to the guidelines and that they will sign the consent and release form. If you do sell your seat, you must notify us at alchemyatwork@aapt.net.au before 31 October 2008.

If you have been hospitalized for mental illness any time during the past 3 years, you are required to bring your own emotional assistant to be with you throughout the conference. This person MUST pay for her/his seat as well.

If you cancel on or BEFORE Wednesday 1 October, your tuition will be minus a $50 processing fee.

If you cancel BETWEEN 2 October and 31 October, your tuition will be refunded minus a $100 processing fee.

No one is allowed to create audio or visual recordings of any portion of EFT Extravaganza without prior written permission from Maggie Adkins.

There will be NO REFUNDS after 31 October.

Workshop Consent and Disclaimer Form– All participants must sign this form before the conference begins. They will be available at the registration table.

Release and Disclosure Form

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a member of a new class of treatment techniques and protocols referred to as Energy Therapy. While still considered experimental, these techniques are being used by therapists, nurses, physicians, psychiatrists and lay people worldwide. While there are theories as to how they work, why they work, and why they sometimes don’t work, there is no accepted scientific explanation. As a result of their experimental nature, no EFT practitioner knows with certainty in advance how someone can be helped or if the techniques will help a particular person with a particular problem.

To date, EFT and other Energy Therapy Techniques have yielded exceptional results in the treatment of psychological and physical problems. However, they are NOT meant to replace appropriate medical treatment or mental health counseling.

If you use these techniques on yourself or others, you must agree to take full responsibility for your own well-being and you are required to advise your clients to do the same. By participating in this conference, you are releasing your right to hold Maggie Adkins EFT Master, Rehana Webster EFT Master, Gary Craig the founder of EFT, or any other conference presenters or assistants responsible for any side effects or changes in your life as a result of this treatment.

I acknowledge that from 6 November to 11 November, 2008, at the “Healing Our Lives Through EFT,” conference in Geelong Victoria, I am voluntarily participating in various workshops given by Lindsay Kenny, Sandi Radomski, Mick Hawes, and the presenters during “THE Weekend”. I have also read the workshop guidelines above and am aware that my signing up for the conference means I agree to these guidelines.

I assume and accept the risk of any adverse outcome that might result from attending or using the techniques demonstrated at the workshop. I recognize that none of the conference presenters recommend that I, or any person with whom I may use the techniques, stop using any prescribed medicine or other mental health counseling that I or he/she may be using, without consulting a doctor, even if after using the techniques it appears to indicate that such medicine or therapy is unnecessary.

I represent that no EFT practitioner will have any liability to me for any damage to my emotional or physical health arising in any way whatsoever out of my attendance at this conference or my use of the techniques.

In consideration for being permitted to attend the conference, I fully release Maggie Adkins, Rehana Webster and any other persons who work with or assist in the conference from any and all claims and causes of action that I presently have or may have in the future relating to my participation in the conference.

I agree that my emotional and physical health is my responsibility. I further acknowledge that I have read this entire release and disclosure statement.
